That we went deep-sea fishing? My plan was to catch a delicious bass.
This guy followed the boat the whole way:
Smart.
The moon rose.
There's the city:
Poles up while the boat's moving.
Rob caught a flounder! So did Greg.
I lost my lunch over the side a couple times . . .

FLOUNDER!!
ReplyDeleteI love flounder. They look like Picasso gave God a hand out for a minute, while God whizzed off to the loo.
Flounder is one of my comfort foods, pan fried in oil and butter and lemon juice- yummity yum yum.
I can pull a face like a flounder, I'll send you a pic sometime.
Having spewed over the side several times whilst fishing, I have always found the eat fish/throw up fish/fish eat throw up/ eat fish cycle of life very compelling. hahah!

ReplyDeleteWow, can you go deep-fishing outside New York? I just moved here from Sweden and this would be the perfect thing to do when my parents visit. Would you be up for giving a few tips on where to turn? Justy found your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Anna
Hi Anna! There are a bunch of boats that go from Shepshead Bay, in Brooklyn. This is the company we went on: http://www.seaqueenvii.com/. DO IT! (But take seasick medicine first.)
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks a lot!
