And I picked up this piece of marble with metal fittings on a beach in Quebec:



It was some kind of switch, I think.

Christmas cactus

Smuggled into Brooklyn from Canada (I wrapped it in like five feet of toilet paper):

I was going to crop this picture but then I decided I liked how you can just see the spines of the other cactus sticking into the image on the right.
