At my desk. (I already ate the avocado quarter and the cheese chunk.)

Two books I have been wanting to read!
I didn't read this when it came out, but I am curious about it. It didn't get the greatest reviews, but Mary Gaitskill's pretty interesting anyway.
I gave my dad The World Is What It Is, Patrick French's new biography of V. S. Naipaul, for Hannukah, and since then I have been thinking of rereading some of his novels. This is a good one.
YAY SERENDIPITY!
