Found!

Because I am an inquisitive person (especially on recycling night) I stopped to look at this on my way home last night, in front of a house on my street.

Hmmm.

Very large paper bags.

On the way back from my run later I grabbed the whole bale, lugged it home, and plunked it on the table.

Holy moly, what is that design?

Weird!

And, yes, they are big (I have normal-size feet):

The world is a very interesting place.

The future

This is the dream truck of Rebecca and Greg:

We pass it often, on our walk home from the L train.

This is where our stuff'll go:

Yep. Throw it in the back with the sand bags.

St-Viateur bagels

Truly the best in the world.

Hand rolled, boiled, baked in a wood-burning brick oven, purchased warm $6.75 for une douzaine.

Devoured.

New York bagels are not even close.

Bare legs good

Early summer evening.

They do not mind if you sit in the kids' chairs for hours reading books.

Which we did.

Zia Becca

Is there a word that means, like, "avuncular," but for aunts?

Café Olympico

Montreal snack.

It's miniature!

And delicious.

Childhood

Sis and me (right) in bathing suits:

And with older sister Mona:

Montreal bulletin board.

Home and native land

Haven't seen one of these in a long time.

They were all over the place where I grew up—a sign of spring.

Cats of Sutton Street

You got your feral black-and-white spotted kitties:

Chowing down.

Not so sure she wants to be petted by the giant hand:

Then you got your domestic beauties:

Also skittish.

I got love to give, but I got no takers.

I can't believe it's butter!

I made it!

Oh yes I did. In a jar.

Shake shake shake, then: omigod it worked!

Rinse 'er off, add some sea salt, and that's it!

You got butter.

Nothing to do with anything

This photograph was not taken in Brooklyn.

Click on it, it's big!

Thanks Canidae Central!

Except—note my coffee jar (with cozy)!

Gotta remember my lunch from home today.

Tut tut

Looking at his pornography again.

Knock knock knock

Hi ma'am, sorry to bother you.

But, um...you know that dolly you have out front?

Can I have it?

Contender

Best dessert in the entire world ever?

Strawberries, sugar, whipped cream.

Inexplicably attracted to...

...stripes.

Built by Wendy dress. Very nice.

Next: chambray!

So many clothes in the world.

Nassau Avenue kitten

She's exploring.

Store next door:

Sidewalk:

Hmm, storm drain:

The street!

I scooped her up and passed her back through the window to the shopkeeper. Kittens smell so good! (How do they do it?)
