Hexagons!
Officially, awesomely, done!
This shows the "back":
You may recall that I was going to put a yellow border on it, but I tried it and decided—this is a modern blankie; no border necessary. I like it with the natural edge.
Now it sits on a shelf in my friend Beth's room patiently awaiting winter. Let's hope it's a cold one!
And, for me--NOW WHAT??? (Maybe finish this special blankie for me and Greg?)

I am knitting something real!
Feather-and-fan lace. Can you believe it?
Beth had the genius idea that I should try lace, because it wouldn't be boring. And she was totally right—I am really enjoying it. It has knit yarnovers and knit-2-together, as well as knit and purl.
It's a present for Greg (I believe that every man should have a jabot of yellow cotton lace for special occasions).
