James Farm
They're the best . . . from the nest!
Yep, you don't want to be hanging around a bunch of chickens without a hat, gloves, and proper footwear. (It also helps if you're drunk.)

Japanese snacks
I love this place.
Besides the cafe they have a zillion awesome crochet books (the Japanese make the best craft books)!

Sunday
I reheated 8-hour-old coffee instead of making a fresh pot because:
a) I'm thrify.
b) I'm lazy.
c) All of the above.

Garage roof
Of landlady.
This is where I am storing my winter nut supply.
(I just chuck them out the kitchen window.)

Order your turkey now.
So we can send this dude out in the woods to catch one for ya:
(Or maybe he's the turkey?)

People
Can't you see that these random discarded sidewalk boxes are already full?
You'll have to find somewhere else for your garbage.

$1
This awesome book I remember from when I was a kid!
It's about an orphaned Inuit girl who runs away from home and has to live in the wilderness. She runs out of food and tries desperately to befriend a pack of wolves. Pretty good story, and also excellent details of Inuit wilderness survival!
Yay for books that cost a dollar!! Although sadly it fell apart as I read it, a problem with paperbacks from that era. (I bought at at the Center for Fiction bookstore, which I just discovered ... all books $1 to $4. And they have an ebook library!!)
