Garage hex

Get out your magical talismans.

Arrange them "correctly."

Point the unicorn horn at the object in question.

Yep. Hopefully it will fall down in the night so the landlady's husband can no longer watch TV on it without his shirt on.

Home haircut

At the office?

I decided not to be a crazy person. (The scissors here are so nice and sharp tho!)

Soda water

I know that one symbol means Kosher, but I'd really like to know what else it says.

Anyone?

Found last night!

In a garbage pile outside a loft building in Williamsburg:

Silkscreened poster from 1972!

WOO! I really like it, and it is very nicely framed. (It's not stained; there's just a little dirt on the glass.)

There was another one—featuring a box of crayons—and I kind of regret I didn't take both.

Backpack kitty says

Thank you for the pretty flower!

"No!"

This thing is awesome!

I wasn't totally sure it was discarded, or I would have for sure taken it.

Geraniums

Soooo pretty and they smell so good!

If only the same could be said for me.

One of the lesser-known proofreading marks

I found this post-it on my office floor.

"Kitty jail"

My friend sent me these pichures from the vet's office.

They are up for adoption: Underdog (left) and Tom Collins.

Hello beautiful.

I like how you have your own special cushion there.

My friend Courtney taught me

A shoe box almost always has shoes in it.

FOUND!

Yes.

Day-glo orange wheat.

This guy:

Also confused yet fascinated.

Anyhoo, this stuff is presently looking great in a milk bottle on our kitchen table!

I'm not sure what's going on here

But I do appreciate the attention given.

Hexagons!

Officially, awesomely, done!

This shows the "back":

You may recall that I was going to put a yellow border on it, but I tried it and decided—this is a modern blankie; no border necessary. I like it with the natural edge.

Now it sits on a shelf in my friend Beth's room patiently awaiting winter. Let's hope it's a cold one!

And, for me--NOW WHAT??? (Maybe finish this special blankie for me and Greg?)

Free

Bag of Match Light!

Pigeon not included.

Found!

Francis and Clare, Saints of Assisi.

Apostolic Blessing!

And did you know about this?

Nihil obstat! The censor librorum has declared the book free of doctrinal or moral error (PHEW, 'cause I had already started reading it).

Also: the good thing about being a heathen is you don't already know how the story ends.

Keep plastic bags away from children

They may accidentally throw away their friend.

The good thing about books you find on the street:

They are free.

The bad thing:

Someone might have crossed out every reference to sex with a black marker!!!!!!!!
