Garage hex
Get out your magical talismans.

Arrange them "correctly."
Point the unicorn horn at the object in question.

Yep. Hopefully it will fall down in the night so the landlady's husband can no longer watch TV on it without his shirt on.

Found last night!
In a garbage pile outside a loft building in Williamsburg:
Silkscreened poster from 1972!
WOO! I really like it, and it is very nicely framed. (It's not stained; there's just a little dirt on the glass.)
There was another one—featuring a box of crayons—and I kind of regret I didn't take both.

"Kitty jail"
My friend sent me these pichures from the vet's office.
They are up for adoption: Underdog (left) and Tom Collins.

Hexagons!
Officially, awesomely, done!
This shows the "back":
You may recall that I was going to put a yellow border on it, but I tried it and decided—this is a modern blankie; no border necessary. I like it with the natural edge.
Now it sits on a shelf in my friend Beth's room patiently awaiting winter. Let's hope it's a cold one!
And, for me--NOW WHAT??? (Maybe finish this special blankie for me and Greg?)

Found!
Francis and Clare, Saints of Assisi.

Apostolic Blessing!
And did you know about this?

Nihil obstat! The censor librorum has declared the book free of doctrinal or moral error (PHEW, 'cause I had already started reading it).
Also: the good thing about being a heathen is you don't already know how the story ends.

The good thing about books you find on the street:
They are free.
The bad thing:
Someone might have crossed out every reference to sex with a black marker!!!!!!!!
