New obsession

A blanket for my friend Sarah.

One giant granny square! Inspired by the Purl Bee.

I made a start:

Whoops—I made a mistake on the red corner...

No one will notice.

  1. oh, I'm so excited! I can't wait. It's going to be beautiful. How big is it? It looks like it's already big. I wish I had it now. It is cold and wet here.

  2. I am requesting permission to use your photo of Sarah's granny square blanket in a book that I am writing entitled Peace Fibres: Stitching a Soulful World. It would be in a chapter on "Power and Innocence," focusing on women and children and global empowerment. Crocheting granny squares is discussed and the photo is perfect for that page.

Please advise as to whether I may use your image, and, if so, what fees are involved, if any.

Thank you for considering my request.

  4. Hello again,
Thank you for your response.... I replied, but see that has never posted, so will try again.
I will be self-publishing Peace Fibres through Integral Press, with a target date of early 2011.
    May I use your image?
    Thank you for your consideration.
    Regards,
