what is hard to see in the photo is the real issue here. the "basket" is about three feet tall and about a foot in diameter at the bottom gradually tapering inward toward the top, making it useful for...wait for it...nothing! famous oft heard quote from rebecca--i think it would be useful for something, but i don't know what.
Greg - maybe you can cut off the bottom, put it on the top and invert the whole thing... then you'd have a wide enough opening to pitch your 'whatevers' over your shoulder and make the basket! - Eliza
