Check out this dinner party I went to Sunday night. Fifteen dollars for a six-course meal with three cocktails on a rooftop in Bushwick with friends, strangers, and semi-strangers.





Food:

Homemade pickle plate
Green gazpacho and cornbread
Mussels
Homemade sweet corn ravioli
Frittata, kale, and bruschetta
Flourless chocolate cake

Drink:

Cucumber-mint Gibson
White sangria
Blackberry vodka slush puppy













Good people + good food = good times!

Granola

Why not make some?

Put your dry ingredients in a pot:



For example, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.

Stir and toast.



Add some honey! Also: maple syrup if you have some. Glug in some vegetable oil (you don't need that much).



Stir stir stir.



Looking good.

Now: put a thinnish layer of the mixture in a flat pan in a 350-degree oven.



Toast it until it just starts to get brown around the edges.

When it's all done, add some dried fruit. Stir. And...you got granola!



Easy and delicious. Do it!
